Joyeux anniversaire Queer Migs! In order to celebrate our 6th birthday, we are having a late brunch at HAZ. The idea is simple: bring some original food from your real or made-up home region and around 11:30 we’ll have a great time sharing delicious stuff. Some people who don’t bring anything are also very welcome, or better say needed. Basic supplies like tea, coffee, milk and Weissbier will be provided by us. If you need to shortly use an oven/stove the one offered by HAZ will be at your disposal!

Movie night is back! This time, we will watch the 2013 US indie movie Short Term 12. There will be some snacks and drinks as well, so why don’t you just come by? Movie is in English. Source: Locarno Film Festival.

BarbeQueer is a spontaneous Friday bbq organized by Queer Migs. We’ll meet at Irchelpark, at one of the grills next to the tiny lake 🙂 You just have to bring what you want to grill and come to meet new people. You can bring your friends or find new ones at the event or neither of the two! And afterwards, we’ll all move to Züri Fäscht, the huge, super-duper event that our city hosts every 3 years! For any question, send us a pm! If you want to reach us later, send us a pm 😛 –In case of bad weather, an alternative plan will be published here!–

Movie night is back! This time, we will watch the 2018 award-winning US movie Boy Erased. There will be some snacks and drinks as well, so why don’t you just come by? Movie is in English. The teenage son of a Baptist preacher finds himself at a gay conversion camp after a fellow student maliciously outs him to his family. Based on true events, Nicole Kidman, Lucas Hedges, and Russell Crowe deliver astonishing performances as the divided family in Joel Edgerton’s elliptical coming-of-age tale, in which he also stars as the fiery camp director.
